Esterbrook Pen - Clip Straightening

This is an old post from FPN (http://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/topic/33761-how-can-i-bring-the-clip-closer-to-the-cap/#entry311301) which lost its images because of the recent change in the Photobucket photo storage site.

Here is what I do to fix them:

 

Lift up the clip slightly with a key or a piece of wood (better).

Make sure that you put the key (or whatever support you use) so that the
kink in the clip lines up with the outer edge of the key. In other words try to make sure
that it bends back exactly where it was bend before.
Press down a bit. 

If you pressed too much...Turn around and press down

Presto!...
